A baby's skin needs extra care. Use appropriate skin products, with no artificial color and fragrance; they should be gentle to the skin, but can remove dirt and bacteria. Here are some of the basics:

Gentle body cleanser

Mild shampoo

No fragrance wipes

Soft Moisturizing lotion, non-irritating to the skin

Diaper rash ointment, containing zinc oxide, and is petrolatum based and fragrance free

Baby powder, that does not contain talc, or cornstarch

Proper sunscreen lotions, SPF 15+
